When I met Sebastião Salgado

In 2014, Sebastião Salgado visited Itamaraty Palace in Brasilia, along with Lélia Wanick Salgado - his wife, producer and curator - and Rodrigo, their son.

The worldwide known artist granted the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a collection of 24 stunning pictures of Amazonia, taken during a six years long project that brings a powerful and urgent message about the indigenous people, their beauty and fragility.

It was a great honor to listen to Salgado sharing his experiences.

It was an absolute joy to capture this unforgettable moment.
